I've been looking for a new car and I came accross these pictures at a Porsche Dealer in Texas. Any one who don't want to get their car dirty after a fresh detail needs to get one of these. Check out the cars in the background.

i have seen those in magazines before. my step dad was thinking of getting one for his supra tt. you can actually get those bubbles with climate controls

cool but a nice car cover in a quiet closed in warehouse might work about as well.

i need a bubble! if my neighbors ever saw my truck in one of those they really would think im f ing nutts:D

I cover my cars up in the garage with a cover most of the time after I detail it if I'm not going to drive it. The only thing I don't like about is that I can't see my car and hard work under the covered when I'm out messing around in the garage (which I do alot). I would be nice to have you car protected in a bubble and still be able to look at it.
:D

Pretty cool. Looks like an empty on the far left end.

I've seen them for sale, they were a couple thousand if I recall, they even had smaller once for bikes and even smaller ones for model cars LOL.

haha the bubbles are crazy, looks like some kind of space station

That looks like quite the place to work in.
Cant say much for that silver/orange color combo, cool car but the colors

Honestly - we all like having clean, shiny cars but sealing your car in a bubble is a few steps beyond anal. Are you going to drive it, or just stare at it?

The next step is sealing it in a clear, plastic block like those bugs trapped in amber from the dinosaur days.

When you have lots of cars you can't drive them all, all of the time, so you just bubble them up in between detail and drives then move on to the next.
:D
Sounds like a good plan to me, lots of bubbles full of exotic cars.

Hey Gary, I think I may too be looking for another car!
I've decided that if I sold ALL my cars, and keep only the M5, my wife's TSX, I can get something else..... Something Italian........ Its all in the works :righton:

Sweet...those bubbles look wicked :righton:

hahaha bubble car...so much for bubble boy hahahahaha

Gary, if you get any more cars we're going to start calling you "Bubble Boy". Then you would have the credentials to hang out with "Boca Boy"-aka-Surfer! lol

Seems like a good idea for storage----nothing touches the car, unlike a car cover. Why not make them where everything is contained in the bubble but the wheels so you can drive them---haha. I could see you cruising up 75 in your Lambo------with a bubble around it:)

Meh, money and space not being an issue a small ware house type place in the back yard would be my preference. Space being an issue I still would cover them up, just qd them down and stare.

Sounds good FMINUS, I'm getting some plans drawn up to to add another 4 garage to my house. One never has enough cars. I going to need more bubbles :)

wytstang, after I detail a car I like to look at it to. I usually take another car that already dirty just so I don't have to mess it up. I like to detail and rotate the cars I drive. Now I just need some bubbles.

Waste of money in my opinion. How could you enjoy your car that way? I understand if you weren't going to touch the car for a few months or something. Plus, I enjoy washing my cars! haha

ya, as if my neighbors dont already think im totally out of my mind...

I love the idea of the space bubbles! Personally, I wouldn't put a cover on my cars since it's touching my paint. I don't like the idea of that. And like some others said, you cannot see what you've detailed.

The bubble doesn't only look good, it doesn't touch your paint and you can SEE you car!
