Checking back in

Mike! I’ve been wondering where you’ve been hiding. Glad to hear you’ve gotten settled into your “new” life and are happy. Good to have you back, Sir.

Ian! Been hiding no doubt. Lots going on.

Thanks for the welcome back.

Glad to see you back on here Mike! Glad to see the transition is starting to work out.

Thanks Justin! Glad to be back! Looking good so far.

Great to see you back on the forum Mike.

Thanks for the welcome back Kyle!

Good to hear from you Mike. Glad to hear things are going well for you and the family.

Thanks for the welcome back Guz. So far so good.

Welcome to civilian life! Transitioning to a 9 to 5 job will be frustrating and also the loss of comraderie that the military life fosters. I still miss the closeness of my military buddies, there is nothing like it on the outside. Glad you have a skill that transfers to civilian life, many military folk get out with no skills that transfer to real life (hard to shoot, move and communicate). I’m glad to see you back online, you have been missed!

Hahaha. What a difference coming to the civilian side. Still making adjustments. I miss the comraderie for sure. Nothing else like it. Luckily I have a skill set that translates over. I know most of the time its not always the case. Most have to re learn something totally new after doing something for so long in the military. You know how it goes, adapt and overcome.

Thanks for the welcome back!

Welcome Back! long time no hear but now you can catch up! Glad your back!

Hey CJ!!! Been a while but im back! Thanks bud!

Hey man the transition from military and civilian is one of the hardest things to get used to. Luckily enough you have a transferable skill set. Glad to hear that you've been able to find something that works for you.
Great to hear that you're doing well.

Hi. It’s just me...remember?

Glad to see you again Mike;
hope the Family’s doing great.

Again:
Thanks for your service!

Bob

Mike - it was great bumping into you last year. I'm sure our paths will cross again in the not so distant future :)

Hey Bob! Of Course I remember you.

Thanks for the warm welcome back.

Hey Zach! Kinda funny how we bumped into each other.

That wont surprise me.

Thank you for service Mike, good to hear from you. I haven't been as active as I once was a few years ago, daddy duties. Military to civilian life is a transition let alone a process but eventually we all get there...

Hey Mike, glad to see you are back. Was wondering about you, but figured you needed some time to sort out after the big transition.

I did it once myself, and it was a tremendous transition... First year out I found myself always saying, "in the USAF we always did it this way..." Luckily my boss (same one I have now - 18 years later) was also prior USAF, and we both think a like.

I hope things work out for you, congrats on the new house... Take things slow with detailing, don't put the pressure on... just do neighbors, friends and referrals... :) Get back into the groove.

Paul G. :)
