Not sure how many Geeks are in the Kissimmee area, but I'm here for a week with my family on vacation. Still dealing with my cough. I'm hoping a week of R & R will get me better. Nice and hot down here!! Doing lots of reading and in the pool with the kids.

Enjoy the much needed vacay.. about 2 hrs south of Kissimmee area is where I hope you guys are getting a little free time of all this rain we are getting everyday..
 
any plans while you're down here? I'm in Orlando near airport (MCO)

Have fun in our State.Yes it`s hot and rainy.We have a saying down here..."If you don`t like the weather wait 15 minutes or cross the street".Welcome.
 
Enjoy. On Saturday's there are car shows at Old Town on 192. You will be close. Been to a couple and they are nice, not Woodward but still nice time out. Really miss the lake perch dinners from back home in SE MI.
 
About 15 to 30 minutes away from the Kissimmee area depending where you are at, but we are out of town ourselves for the week. I assume you guys are visiting the rat (Mickey Mouse)?

Thanks guys! We're staying at the Legacy Vacation Club. It's pretty nice. No plans to see the rat this time...last time that vermin stuck his hand DEEP in my pocket, LOL. Yes, we've had some rain but late in the day is acceptable. Like in the Detroit area, our weather changes quickly too so we're used to that.
