Do the Wax's CG makes for "White" and "Black" cars really make a difference? I feel like its just a marketing strategy.. I'm curious though.

Anyone on here used it?

White Wax
and
Black Luminous Glow Infusion

For the $ I prefer DoDo Purple Haze. I have CG Lava and hate it, the white and black are the same type of product, pudding like.

If the paint is clear coat, clear coat is void of pigment or colour. The wax touches the clear and doesnt penetrate to the colour.

I dont know why i never thought of that.. I should of known that lol

Thanks!

Now to find the next wax i want to buy, i got a Red Mustang and a Black F150 to Wax..

I love all these people that use the argument, "wax doesn't touch the color - so it can't possible effect how you view it". After all - isn't that all what we are concerned about - how we view the paint?

Did you ever hear of eye glasses? They don't touch your eyeballs - but can make a huge difference on how you view things. Did you ever see a clear bra? They don't touch the color coat either - but affect what it looks like.

Basically, the wax you place on a surface is a filter for the color coat. It doesn't have to "touch it" to affect the look.

That being said, I'd shy away from CG's more expensive waxes. There are much better choices in that price range.

I won white wax in a contest and used it once on my white truck, I didn't notice any difference in how the paint looked and it was a major PIA to remove.

I am going to guess its a lot like Meg's white wax. It's basically a cleaner wax with extra cleaners in it.

+1 - dislike the lava consistency- makes the process more difficult and you waste a lot of product. Stick to Petes53 if you like CG products.

In terms of comparing to the Meg's White / Black wax, those are really targeted AIO where they vary the polish (black) vs cleaner (white) content in the blend. CG offering is a tad different but not worth it.

For the money, I would recommend just doing BLackfire Crystal Seal topped with Blackfire Midnight Sun - you'll get equivalent protection and better results at around the same price.
