Isn't the Daytona itself a knock off of the EZ?
Well, probably several reasons:
A) this is an AG affiliated site. There will be some natural bias toward their products.
B) chemical guys has a history of releasing the same, or at least functionally the same, products in a new label or color and upcharging for the new item.
C) chemical guys marketing hype is way over the top and their product descriptions don't adequately tell you what exactly the product is or does in some cases.
D) chemical guys selectively edit the reviews of products for sale at their website. Negative reviews are completely wiped out. Go to the site and try to find one negative review of any product they carry. It doesn't exist, though I myself have submitted several.

Completely off topic, but it seems like many people here don`t like Chemical Guys. Is there a reason?
I just may be willing, again, to methodically answer: "the question" if, perchance, you will explain why you performed this act of transmogrification upon my name. Can you answer the question - Bobby?
Excellent post, and I agree completely. Their marketing is definitely over the top. I remember watching one of their YouTube videos when they first started selling foam cannons and you would have thought you were buying the freaking space shuttle. I remember thinking to myself "chill the hell out, it's just another ******* foam cannon." It's the same on every video they do.
That said, I have found some of their products to be very good, but also found some piss poor ones. I still think JetSeal was the worst sealant I ever used.

I was told that AG is a for profit organization, therefore the whole CG/Adams thing exists.
I do agree about the new label, but who doesn't change a label for marketing purposes? Often times you see "new label, same great taste" on products (food wise)..
The surcharge i haven't noticed but maybe the cost to create new labels is high? lol
^^ True. I didnt choose my CG products based on marketing. I chose based on reviews from reviews I have read from forums. Same with Wolfgang, Sonax, etc that I have. I mean, Adam`s has some products that I would call copies. Buttery Wax, VRT, Their APC looks excatly like CG AllClean+. Everyone is gonna copy each other, its going to happen.

Don't they have customer service related issues as well? I think people have called and their CS was basically oh well, can't help you.
I use anything and everything. No hate.
Maybe people don't like them because the fanboyism? IDK.

Adam's is definitely not All Clean+. I haven't tried the others from CG, but I doubt they are the same.
The Speed Master Wheel Brush is a detailing tool that’s often imitated, but never duplicated.
Here are a couple features that put the Speed Master Wheel Brush in a league of its own:
- Made 100% in USA – This speaks volumes about the build quality, and it’s an added bonus that the Speed Master line of wheel brushes supports the U.S. economy.
- Nylex bristles – This is the best nylon material available in a brush, and each Speed Master Wheel Brush contains hundreds of these non-abrasive, flexible bristles. The end of each bristle is feathered to provide an extra gentle touch on delicate wheel finishes. They regain their shape, even after thousands of uses, and they’re chemical resistant, meaning they can withstand heavy-duty wheel cleaners and degreasers.
Other features worth noting include the vinyl-coated reinforced flexible stem, the safe bonded tip to prevent scratching, and the knuckle guard that’s designed to protect your hands.
All these features add up to brush that’s a cut above the rest in terms of design, ingenuity, and most importantly – quality.
