Anyone have experiences with Chemical Guys "Customer Service"...

I received these towels from them and after asking for replacement/return I've been ignored for over 24 hours...after receiving multiple e-mails per day for the past 2 days.

The curled towel is what I received from their black friday sale and the normal towel is one I bought over a year ago from them.

ive noticed that over time the same thing is going on with my yellow ones :/ its not as bad as what you have there but there is a definite sign of the edges slightly raising

Don't you fold them in a square anyway when you use them? So why does it matter anyway?

Maybe they do need an additional employee, who knows :/

I think they are now owned by ag ps I never put mine in the dryer just line dry.to hot and thats what happins.

They are a PIA to fold and the edges are constantly flipping under the towel when I try to wipe a surface.

When you label something "Super Premium" it shouldn't be deformed...considering the first batch I ordered were flat.

All I did was rinse them in cold water with distilled white vinegar and tumble dried with no heat.

I own over 200 towels and never an issue before.

I have those towels and I noticed over time they start to do that. Any clue on what the gsm rating is? They look awfully similar to the gold plush jrs..
But it's not posted on their website.

Chemical Guys is NOT owned by PBMG/Autogeek/DD/DI, etc.

Lots of misinformation in this thread.

To the OP - I've also had poor experiences with CG customer service. I find it worth the extra cost to buy their products through a reputable resaler (like...AG) and then when you have an issue, you know you're taken care of.

Just my $.02

I've experienced their customer service once, and I felt it was going to be the worst experience ever... Luckily someone 'up there' took the front and solved my issue way better than expected, had enough patience to do whatever was possible to help me and we ended on a very nice deal.

Being that said, I have nothing to say about their service than it's pretty good.

Hope you can solve this issue the best way.

Kind Regards.

I havent dealt or purchased from CG for over a year now....
However a year ago, when i had to contact them for customer service, i got an answer / help within a day...

I guess it all changed now

I called CG once to order some gold plush look a likes ( I think your picture is blocked on my computer but I think we're talking about the same towels.) In use for ONR washes they are ok but do sort of roll over when being used. Not as good as gold plush but not terrible, especially for the price you can get them for on sale. Anyways, when I called, the customer service couldn't find anyone who knew the GSM of the towels and were pretty clueless on answering questions about the product. I love and use a few CG products (CW&G, MaxiSuds, a glaze) but I buy from AG generally

Calling is your best bet. No matter what site it is, ag, cg, di, they all get tons of emails and could take a while to respond back. Calling is direct and you'll get your problem solved in no time.

Emails are ifffeeee with them as I am waiting on one myself, with them I found you must call them.

Have people forgotten how to use a telephone? By the time you emailed them and took pictures griping about it here, you could have had replacement towels on the way. I just don't understand the way some people think.

Hey Scott, I'm going to forward this thread to my contact at Chemical Guys. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they're incredibly busy like we are, and that they aren't able to respond as quickly as they normally could.

Autogeek does not own Chemical Guys. :dblthumb2:

Also, for everyone that posts in this thread, please remember that forum rules clearly state that bashing of other vendors and members is NOT OKAY.
