Just got some last week and wondering if it's ok if it looks like this:

Obviously I'll shake it before using, but is it a bad sign that it's separated so much? Or is it like Collinite 845 where this sort of thing happens and you just shake it up and you're good to go?

Also, what's the shelf-life of car soaps in general? Assuming the cap is on tight and it's kept indoors, how long should it last?

i have no idea what that pic is..but if you mean Citrus wash and gloss..then yes it separates itself all the time..just a few seconds of shaking will mix it up
 
Yes, Citrus Wash & Gloss. It's a bad cell phone picture of the gallon jug still with plastic wrap on it.
