Chemical Guys Inner Clean - Quick Detailer For Your Interior!

Stop hitting refresh button, that's not a typo that will be corrected! Chemical Guys Inner Clean Interior Detailer is a quick detailer for your vehicle's interior! It makes sense, right? You don't pull out the hose and bucket to remove dust and fingerprints from your vehicle's paint, so why get out all your cleaners and protectants if your vehicle's interior only has light dust and dirt?

Pause for one of those pesky "Why I didn't I think of that?" moments; continue reading.

Chemical Guys Inner Clean Interior Detailer is formulated with light cleaners that remove dirt and grime along with advanced UV inhibitors that protect the surface. Chemical Guys Inner Clean Interior Detailer can be used on everything from leather to navigation screens; it provides a matte finish that doesn't attract dirt or dust.

Chemical Guys Inner Clean Interior Detailer is perfect for those of you that keep your interior well maintained in the first place. While it won't replace a traditional two step cleaning and conditioning process, it is a great way to keep your interior looking "just detailed."

Here is what your typical daily driver looks like after a month of riding to and from work with the windows down (come on, it's Florida).

As you can see the interior in my Mazda 3 wasn't horribly dirty by any means, but it most definitely wasn't clean enough to impress a lady friend. Chemical Guys Inner Clean Interior Detailer to the rescue!

It's simple to use: Spray Inner Clean directly onto a microfiber towel or applicator (this avoids pesky overspray) and gently wipe the surface clean. Flip the towel to a dry side and give it a quick buff to reveal a classy, matte finish.

Awesome write up! I've been using this stuff strictly for over a year, it's awesome and versatile, I don't like the smell but at least I know what it is lol, nice pictures its hard to get interior work to show up well sometimes
I also find it to not so much repel dust as it claims, but it definitely doesn't attract it as some cleaners and dressings do

I love using inner clean and have been using it for about a year or two. Can't beat cleaning action plus UV/dust protection. One tip I got from a long time user (I forget who but I think 5.0 Mark?) is to apply inner clean on the surfaces with one microfiber and afterwards buff the surface with a dry microfiber. He said the buffing action ramped up the dust prevention factor or something like that. I also like the OEM matte finish this cleaner/protectant provides.

BTW nice looking Mazda interior. Love the stick shift cars!!

Agree about the smell. One evening right before bed I used tried it out on my wife's car. The next morning as we were leaving for work she complained her car smelled like rotting fruit. Then she said. "You must have eaten in here and dropped or spilled something, 'cuz I know I didn't":argue:

Great review and pictures.

For those who have experience with Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer, how does Inner Clean compare?

Funny timing Nick. I put Inner Clean in my cart last night to try. Can't wait now! Is AG going to get a gallon size if I like it and want more than 16oz?

Great write up. Nice car too.

Great product and write-up. Just don't expect to remove heavy grime or uneven surface color. This is just an interior QD. Great for maintaining a clean car.

Can I use this to wipe of an light dirt dust with a coat of ultimata already applied ? Or would it wipe off the uptima ?

This is my go to for the interior for about 6 months now. Love the smell to. I like the natural look it leaves behind...no sheen

Pina colada-ish. It smells like pineapple and coconut

Yeah some like the smell, it's not a bad smell, just one that I don't like at all lol

Applying to microfiber towel first is important. I tried it last weekend on my bmw door cards by spraying it directly, and then wiping shortly thereafter. Next morning the door vinyl had blotchy patches and was uneven in color. 303 evened things out later but I am a little scared of this product given how it affected my doors. I will probably use CG's non-sense product for cleaning doors and dash from now on, with 303 to protect from Southern CA sun.

Smell of innerclean is powerful, but not unpleasant, and dissipates by the next day.

I do love innerclean. I recently bought a 93 RX-7 with only 18,500 miles. It had been garage kept its whole life so its dash and other interior vinyl parts were in great shape but it is doubtful that the first owner ever used any cleaners/dressing on the inside and when I got it, it was not so much dirty but dusty. CG Inner Clean took off all the dust and left the viny looking great. I do wonder though if IC alone provides enough moisturizers/conditioners for my dash that has never seen any dressings before. In the description it does say, "The gentle conditioners formulated into InnerClean provide nourishment to your interior restoring that crisp, clean, OEM appearance." Wonder if I should hit the dash with something else to provide more moisture or if IC is enough. Any thoughts from fellow IC users?

This is always my concern with IC and with 1Z Cockpit Cleaner. I haven't tried 1Z yet but hear it leaves an "OEM" finish like I get from IC. IC at least claims that it has uv

protection. 303 has alot uv protection and gives a great finish. Not sure why I don't use it all the time. I think because I like to smell that the car has been detailed. IDK

I love the car! I wanted a low mileage one that was completely stock (people mod the heck out of them and I want mine to be stock) and because they only made about 13,000 of them between 93-95 it was super hard to track down. I had an 87 in high school that I loved too and have been wanting a 93-95 since I was 16 (I'm 28 now). Mine is a stick shift vintage red touring edition. Its a true rocket!
