Does anyone out there have a CG Jet Speed Blower? Currently, I have a Black and decker 18V leaf blower thats not too hot. The CG unit is corded. These things look a lot like leaf blowers... Are they better???

I have one and it is great for blowing water out of mirrors, badges and door handles etc. It does not put out the air that a leaf blower does so drying the whole car takes some time. But, it will do it. Overall, a good little machine for the price.

I have one also and really like it - it will not completely dry your car, IMO it's pointless to try, I dry with guzzler then go back around with the blower and a small drying towel. Then again you can get it for around $45 when on sale from CG. It's excellent for getting all the water out from lights, moldings, etc. also very helpful when doing wheels, helps keep my chrome wheels from spottong when i wash in the sun. Bit loud though.

I use one as well. Great for getting water out of all the crevices, and also good to use on wheels and tires. I've dried my whole car with it before-- it's a little slow for that, but can be done esp. if you have a good sealant or wax on it. It IS loud though.

It's a lot easier to manage than a leaf blower, and you can get it right near the paint as a result. Also, the hose part is a softer rubber which is good/safer I think.

I have one and use mine at work 5 days a week. The Jet-speed is awesome and it comes in handy with wheels and blowing out super dirty interiors. It does take a bit of time to dry the whole car but I only do it because my clients wax monthly or even biweekly and I use dionized water. As noted it is pretty loud.

I have one and agree with the other posters. I also love the fact that it is so light and doesn't wear out my arms .
