Well just got my first batch of CG stuff.

Just cleaned all the trim with citrus cleaner and then coated it with their trim stuff. We will see how it compares to the 303 in the FL rain.

I love CG stuff, I also sell a ton of there stuff in my "shop" to clients

From my experience G6 will not hold well to rain. Expect streaks down the side of your vehicle if any water hits your trim.

Those towels and sponges are from CG?

I bought some cheap towels from Autozone for engines and they look Exactly the same color and all.

Feed back please

Those are there all purpose towels. Not meant for paint.

I've been meaning to pick up some V07. Be sure to post your thoughts!

I love the CG V-7 product, been using it for about a year. I did just get my first taste of Blackfire Wet Diamond on bogo recently and must say I find them both very comparable on my Black GC. I'd have to give a very slight edge on the shine side to the BF. Either product you can't go wrong, or better yet get both. I did mine with CG Blacklight topped with Souveran and wiped down with Blackfire Wet Diamond last weekend and it is amazing. One thing for sure, no matter how many times I use Blacklight it never ceases to amaze me. As a stand alone product it's hard to beat.

I realized over time with CG vinyl and rubber treatments you have to go back and buff them down to a satin shine. Once I did that I never had an issue with them "running" after rain

LOVE getting a big box from AG!!! As far as trim I haven't found anything better than Ultima tire and trim guard plus!! No running...great stuff!!

That will be my next purchase, everyone seems to rant and rave about it!

Updated and funny story:

So I did the hood of the land rover last night

Applied two costs of CG black light with 20min intervals.
Then I wiped it down with the V7.
The results were as expected super slick looking almost wet. I don't have the best color for pop but it's popping more than I expected and the reflection is very impressive.

Now the funny story ... Headed to the airport this am and walked three the chemical screening machine. Alarms everywhere ... Off the the pat down area pass everything but keep failing the hand wipe test. So off to the back room for more test... 45mins later we are all laughing and joking about the detailing stuff setting off this machine. Needless to say I won't be going to NYC thisnweekend... But hey I can finish the rest of the car panels.

If this would have happened to me, I probably would started a thread when I get put in the back room at the airport, since I am AGO mobile/phone.

Might of read something like: Under Lock Down with Chemical Guys :D

(Kidding)

They don't let you play on your phone haha... Do my pics show? I see the code but I think my phone isn't displaying then

Never had an issue with G6, actually its my fav dressing for tires!

We went to the beach yesterday, 1 hour hwy driving each way and caught a rain storm on the way in. Got to say the Black Light + V7 made washing the car super easy.

For those who said the CG trim stuff drips with rain, you must have applied it to the wrong kind of material. It stayed on great for the plastic trim, but the window a-pillars and panels were not plastic. They are some kind of metal I guess, so they def ran. I will not be applying it to that section.

I did use the trim condition on the tires though and it gave them a nice healthy shine, we will see how long it lasts.
