chemical Guys?

In general I really like their products. I find their website a little confusing because every product is advertised to be the best. Every microfiber is the best , the softest, the most plush etc. The same with other products. Just tell us what is really the best and for what job it will excel.

I've ordered tons of microfibers from them along with citrus wash and gloss and some of their various apc's with great results. I also use their microfiber wash with good results and it cleans all my towels and pads.

Great products, but the website is so ghetto and slow, instead to pay those bimbos to pose use the money to better the site and a forum.

Agreed. They could use the services of a real web content developer...

I agree that their website is garbage. IMO they have far too many apparently redundant and poorly described products too.

That said I think some of the shampoos are pretty good, as are some of the glazes but there are other products out there that are at least as good in those categories. Their microfiber towels are just okay. 50/50 v.1 is a good but not exceptional wax. I haven't tried their up market waxes that appear to be attempting to compete with Zymol, Swissvax and Auto Finesse. JetSeal 109 is a lame sealant IME.

I buy some stuff from them but I am not a fan of their site. I have a hard time discerning if it is a detail site or mild porn. Tis degrading to women.

I do order their products but not from their site. I can't figure out what they are trying to sell.

I really like their products. None of them seem very finicky or hard to use.

So far I have
mf wash
V7
BL
Stripper scent
New Car Scent
VRP
B2B
Glossworks shampoo
and I don't have much if any complaints about any of them.

Another vote for them to upgrade the web site.
Love, Black Light and Citrus Wash & Gloss.
Looking to try one of the paste waxes (not sure yet)

It's a fact their web site sucks. Having said that, their focus is on making great products at great prices that are easy to use and produce consistent results...not on marketing.

Are you kidding me??? Their focus is 100% on marketing, including hyperbole, redundant products, goofy labeling/packaging, etc. And the reason it's 100% marketing, is because they are the retail/internet marketing arm of another company. If you want to talk about a company that focuses on making great products at great prices, you're talking about Optimum, they are the most product-driven and least marketing-driven company out there.

One thing lucky for me I live in soCal and I can drive over to them and pick what I want off the shelves. I think they have 3 places in california that offer a retail type store front. They are very nice guys all around when asking questions, they also offer classes on detailing.

my $.02

As a fellow SoCal'er I have to agree. I went to their retail store, and they were good people, gave great advice and they even threw in some freebies when I purchased a gallon oF V7, some spray bottles, some microfibers, etc....fun experience. Got to see some nice cars they had around, it was a good time! I live only about half an hour away so it's a fun trip when I need something immediate and can't wait for UPS when ordering from this great site known as AGO.:xyxthumbs:

Having beautiful women in skimpy bikinis has been going on for decades in car magazines and at car shows. I believe the women make it seem like your car will be beautiful enough by using their products to be worthy of being at a car show with beautiful women, or in a magazine.

If women posing for pictures in bikinis is degrading to women, then so is women wearing bikinis anywhere. I would make the case that what is REALLY degrading to women is to mandate that they be covered at all times, like in the Middle East. THAT is the subjugation of women. Women being able to wear what they want and being free to make money doing it by posing in pictures is empowering to women. They do it of their own free will. It treats women as sex objects? As Hugh Hefner said, women ARE sex objects, otherwise the species would not perpetuate itself. For that matter, men are sex objects, too. All human bodies are sex objects. It perpetuates the species.
Is portraying men or women as sex objects degrading to humanity? It might not exactly point out the actual effectiveness of the products, and so is a bit of a distraction, but it adds glamor and appeal, and adds relevance to the human life experience,IMO.

Back on topic, though, I really like chemical guys E-Zyme , their synthetic quick detailer and their Grime Reaper.

VERY good point and observation!

I use the following produts

Stripper Scent
Leather Scent
Window Clean
Microfiber Wash
Pad Wash
Leather Conditioner
Back to Black Aerosol Spray

love them all very happy with their products

Hi, not that I want to debate this further... I would like to point out that just because something has gone on for decades, doesn't make it right. The same could be said for slavery.

A woman in a bikini is one thing but having them in provocative poses is another and has nothing to do with the effectiveness of their products. Would you say that a woman who chooses to pose nude or even be a prostitute is empowering to them? Or perhaps they have some emotiona/mental issues that convinces them that their value is physical and not based on their character. If a woman chooses be a heroin addict it is NOT empowering.

In my opinion, true empowerment comes from the ability to make the right choices. And I don't believe that humanity needs pornography to perpetuate itself.

I am sorry to bring up such a old thread but you really need to relax and find a hobby. I mean, really?? come on knock it off
