Chemical guys

I have a lot of CG products, some are hit and miss but most are really good

I've use a few of their products. Maxi Suds II shampoo, Glossworkz shampoo, EZ Creme glaze, Natural Shine dressing... didn't care much for the Natural Shine. It didn't seem to hold up to water at all, currently using AMMO Mud on the tires and trim. MSII shampoo is a good maintenance wash, but I much prefer Glossworkz. Rinses so much cleaner and is super foamy.

The only thing that keeps me from trying more stuff from CG is because they have so many damn products, lol. It's kind of confusing.

I've only tried their stripper scent, but that stuff is scrumptious.

I really want to try their purple stuff air freshener.

Forgot that I have Mr. Pink car wash. That stuff is stupid slick. Not many suds from my foam gun (not foam lance), but it has great lubricity. I'd buy it again.

I use Maxi-Suds and love it but am I missing out on a better soap by CG'S ?
Reason I ask is I'm about out and will order more soap very soon.

^^ I like Mr.Pink, and HoneyDew as well. Mr.Pink smells better imo.

Both are gentle soaps which is great for regular washes.

Another for Mr. Pink as a maintenance wash, it's not strong enough for anything else by itself. I will mix a couple ounces of that and some APC in my Gilmour gun to add a little extra cleaning power.

Another product of theirs I really like is Back 2 Black, their aerosol trim product. It works awesome in the engine bay and wheel wells, plus any overspray can just be wiped away with no smears or streaks.

What dilution of Mr Pink are you using?

I use almost all Chemical Guys products, and for the price I have yet to find better. Jet Seal does indeed bead for 6 months+ when using proper wash techniques.

Micro abrasions from their polishes?... this is a highly blown out..almost in direct sunlight picture of a roof after P40 + Jet Seal. (Car was done in garage..sunset was beamed directly into garage) If you would like I can do a video of my next touch-up with a spotlight on the paint.

Their compounds?.... I'm not a fan boy...but their products are cheap..and give RESULTS, which is ALL that matters. I can order $400 worth of product and have it paid for after 1 2-step correction.

And for anyone looking for durability...you should be using OC/Gtehniq/CQ/CG:SS etc.

Hmm... the fact that you just joined up and that is your first post, seems suspicious to me.

For standard 2BM washes I use CW&G, foam gun goes to HoneyDew. Im also a large fan of V7 and G6 Hyper dressing. Next to those items, I'm not their biggest fan but some of their bulk prices are hard to beat.

Anyone tried CG Fabric Clean? I'm looking for a product for cleaning carpets and the reviews on it are pretty good. It's also cheap and the dilution ratio is awesome.

 sorry I didn't make an into thread...I work 50+ hrs a wk detailing...don't really have time to worry.

Chemical Guys has their own PR/CR/MKTing team, I think they can handle their own.

I just hate to see CG get a bad name and misinformation spread, it is really quite toxic for the detailing community.

I got it...use it, and love it.
