What do you take to remove chemical on black plastic trim?

By chemical I'm assuming you're referring to polish or wax, try the following.

• All Purpose Cleaner and a tooth brush or a rag.
• Prep-Sol and a tooth brush or a rag.
• Isopropyl Alcohol and a tooth brush or a rag.

Yeah, I assume you're thinking polish/wax residue. Poorboy's trim restorer on a rag works phenominal. Takes off the residue and moisturizes the trim as well.
