I had a customer that wanted to give his wife a Christmas gift and have his wifes 2010' Chevy Equinox corrected and protected with OG.
He said he wanted the vehicle as near perfect as I could get it!
Well needless to say but I explained the vehicle would at least need a 2-step compound and polish considering the swirls/scratches that were present.
We went over the vehicle together and I took my paint thickness gage over dozen's of different area's on the vehicle and there was plenty of paint/clear to meet his request. He said he would pay for the time of correction and wanted to pay for the protection to keep it that way.

Here is how the vehicle turned out.

The customer paid WELL for this vehicle that was darn near close to 100% corrected (one scratch that was too deep to correct fully) and he was extreamly saticfied.I expalined to him how to keep it swirl free.
He will be bringing it back in the spring for maintance washes and decontaminations.

He also liked the outcome so much,he will be bringing his truck by next month for the same treatment :)

wow, that equinox has been to glossville.sweet.what were your products of choice?

nice work man...

Im really becoming a huge fan of the OPT line up...
Thank you :xyxthumbs:

interesting you opted not to put OG on the trim? ive been putting OC on my trim and think it is great...

just curious as why you went with the Dlux over teh OG?

The customer asked if there was anything to darken the wiper cowl area and I told him that DLux would,he then wanted the trim darken on ALL of the remainder of the vehicle.
I have used OG on trim numerous times with great results but I have found that DLux darkens it and stays that way where as OG initially darkens but as it dries/cures,the trim returns to its original condition.

good to know..i did want to try it on my exterior trim but for me the OC did a real good job...but the trim is relatively new...maybe thats the difference...

It is.I've done older/faded trim with OG & OC2.0 and they both resorted back to their faded condition after application.

Great work! I gotta ask though, what's in the reflection? Looks like an lt1 f-body maybe?

Metallic really pops now.
Nice job gets more work.
Yeah,the color was really nice.

What a MAGNIFICENT job, Chris! :dblthumb2:

Did you use B&S green/black?
thank you Mark.I actually used Adms because their pads protect the sides of the backing plate on the 3401 :xyxthumbs:

Great job. The roof looks sexy.
:props:

I have the same Adam's pads, they're actually very nice!

I would have to agree but the only other pad I know of that offer side protection is the CG's self centering.

One thing I wanted to add is I used to use OPC (5:1) for my pad cleaning solution worked well until I tried the Wolfgang New Pad Cleaner & Conditioner works even better (at pad cleaning)!

I've been eyeing the WG pad cleaner.

I just used Adam's SS MF towel today to remove a sealant. That is the single best MF towel I've ever used! Adam's has some great products, and not so great! Just like every company, though.
