Chevy mud handshake commercial

I cringed. But I still didn't understand the whole point of the commercial?

To make truck owners who don't get their truck muddy feel like less of man. Remember their whole "man step" commercial?

LMAO! The 'MAN STEP!" was funny!

I take commercials like I do all other advertisment on tv; If its funny to me, I laugh. At the end of the day I buy what I want and what has been reliable, commercials and advertisment really don't influence me. Results do.

For this chevy commerical, I thought it was funny too. Althought the sound that comes from the hand shake makes me cringe more lol.

I alway find it funny around my neighbors who don't tow anything or mud, lift it and on. I buy a sports car to race it (on track) and use it how it was designed to...kinda of like a hot chick, right? Im the MAN

Most fun I've ever had with my clothes on is in Iowa with a past GFs cousin who has land and muds, hauls his work (Firework business) trailers, cuts down his lumber and hauls it home. Iowa's got some nice land.

I saw the same commercial and the first thing I thought was "I wonder what the guys on AGO will say about that?" For the most part I was right in that many, if not all, said they cringed at the "muddy handshake" which is what I expected.

Am I the only one who looks at that as an opportunity to make another $100 (or so) on top of detailing that truck?Feed back please

That's the way everyone should view advertisements. They're just entertainment for us.

Sadly there are those people that do take ads like this seriously though.
