I am going to be in the Southern Suburbs of Chicago next week. Are there any car shows or cruise nights still?
 
I dont know were all the car shows are but on any given day there is a car show every day of the week --- Mon Westchester, tues.Lemont, wed Elmhurst , thur Westmont, fri Downers Grove, sat Lombard. Im not sure about sun.
 
I know the FNL show is August 9th at Bueno Beef on Higgins Rd, check www.jdmchicago.com for the actual addy. Supercar Saturday is this Saturday but I'll be back home inn the D this weekend, taking in the pre Woodward Dream Cruize sights!

Tuesday night in plainfield. Nice show and a nice downtown area as well
 
I'm from the D originally I must say the car culture here is actually better than back home because not only is there a heavy classic scene but huge import scene as well. That said, its too bad you can't go to a show where the 2 can come together so you can see everything.
