Hey guys, I am not sure if this was discussed before, when I search for vacuums it comes with about a 100 pages ;) I looked at a few pages and nothing seems to match what I need...

So here is the thing... I am looking to buy a new vacuum cleaner. The one I have is not ideal and I want something else.

So what I am looking for is something small with a powerful motor and long hose.

So far hose lenght is always too short (longest I found was 7 feet) and vacuum cleaners with powerful motors have huge containers attached to them.

Any suggestions on where I can find what I need and specific models if you know any?

For the hose I talked to a place specialized in vacuum cleaners and they can extend it as long as it's 1 1/2 inch or 1 3/4 inch in diameter.

Dear Calendyr

Popular choices include Rigid's 4070, the Metro Vacs, and the PowrFlite PF51. (Maybe the PowrFlite isn't a well-known option, but I understand it's an excellent vacuum.)

Honestly, I'm pretty happy with my tiny Shop-Vac. It doesn't have nearly the power of the popular models, but I keep it beside the van and plugged in so I can do frequent thirty-second vacuums to enjoy a clean interior. Our van has rubber floor liners, so unless I'm trying to vacuum dried glue, everything vacuums up easily.

The one with the biggest motor.
In the words of Tim the Tool Man Taylor, POWER! Owh, owh, owh, owh!

5 hp Rigid from HD. Get the car detailing kit, It has the longer, narrower more flexible hose with the good attachments.

Ok, I will have a look at the Rigid vacuum. Thanks!

That's a nice little kit there! I'll be picking it up soon.

Yes it's a great little kit.

Little tip too : if you attach the premium orange hose to the original black hose that comes with the vac it gives you some more hose also keeps the premium orange one off the floor and keeps it clean so your not tracking dirt into the already clean vehicle!
