Should I leave my taillight bezels like THIS:

OR ... Do this to them:

I would go the plasti dip route, that way you could live with it for a while, and if you like it enough go with paint.

I like the chrome on my car, but my car is ruby red.

I have Rustoleum Peel Coat, which is basically the same thing. It's what I used on my front bow tie.

•IMO:
-Go ahead...do the Black;
but only if you also do
it to the reverse/backup lenses.

Black them out.

I'm not a fan of chrome on anything built after the 60's and really don't the little accent bits many makers put on areas like tailights, headlights, window trim, headlights, grills, front/rear facia etc. I think by keeping your exhaust pipes the natural metal and the aluminum brushed lips on the wheels there will still be a nice contrast to the black. The hints of contrast in a few areas will keep the car from having the "murdered" look which I was never a fan.

Of course this is all IMO...aesthetics are deeply personal.

Black looks better. When I ordered my C7 I went chrome wheels etc. Quickly tired of that and now everything is black except for the exhaust tips.

You know the saying.... "Chrome won't get you home" :laughing:

Black'em out!
