Circular Polishing

Just got a new circular polisher. I have been using a PC DA
for about 4 years now and want to do corrections a little faster.
I just ordered a a Lake Country Kompresser Pad kit and was
wondering what speed I should start working polishes at? Feed back please
 
I usually spread at the lowest setting(1000rpm for my dewalt) and work at around 1400-1600. To remove heavy defects I bump it up to 1800.

What exactly are you trying to do? What type of vehicle is it? Is the paint good, fare or bad? Just more of the usual detailing questions is what we need to know before we could offer suggestions. Feed back please

Paint is in good shape. Buffed it out a month ago with a DA polisher.
Swirls are gone for the most part. It was getting dark when I was about to finish up and did not notice that there were some hard water spots on the hood. I just want to remove these and work with the new polisher I purchase and the new LC Kompresser Pads that will be coming in tomorrow. I plant on starting with the white pad with PB"s
SSR1 to see if that knocks it out. Just wanted to get an idea of a speed at.
 
I think I am going to start working at 1000 to 1200 RPM.
