Civic Si Engine Detail w/1Z Einszett Vinyl Rubber Care

Thanks fellas!

So far so good! I've racked up 3500 miles, and I'm averaging about 26.5 mpg (my calculations - mixed driving).

Sometimes I take the long way home just because I enjoy driving the car so much. :dblthumb2:

I've been meaning to pop the hood to see how well the 1Z is holding up. I'll try to make a point of doing that on my lunch break today.

Car looks beautiful, nick. Any update on how well it held up?

Wow Nick I missed this somehow.
I have always loved the Si's and owned one many years ago.
Congratulations :props:

Me too, don't know how I missed it, especially since I really wanted to see this 1Z product in action. You did a fantastic job! How would you rate the cleaners? Mild? Medium? What could you get away with without having to use an APC first? Thanks, Nick and great job!

I popped the hood last weekend and it still looked great. Not as clean obviously, but the finish hadn't really diminished all that much.

I'm loving mine, and plan on keeping it for many years as well! :dblthumb2:

Great question. I would say 1Z 1Z Einszett Vinyl Rubber Care is a light cleaner. It's not something I would use to clean a dirty engine.

The key with using a product like this is to regularly apply it, so it never gets to the point where an APC or degreaser is needed.

That's a sweet and sexy opss... I mean it can roar when it wants Honda.

So with the tornador, does it make wrapping parts of the engine unnecessary? Just pop the hood and start spraying?
