Is there a difference between all the clay alternative pads? If so which one has the best balance of effectiveness, longevity, and best bang for the buck?

if i were to buy a new clay alternative, i would buy either of these...

You prefer this over the pads that go on a DA?

I like to have a SM Arnold fine and medium mitt. Most vehicles I do are getting a correction so I will use the medium grade mitt. For my express and new vehicles I use the fine grade mitt.

I use Nanoskin and believed that they're the king for it as of right now and also the inventor of the whole new claying system I believe.

They all work well. My favorite combo is to use the 6" Nanoskin pad on a 3401 and then get tight places with the Nanoskin towel. The whole process takes a fraction of the time it takes with traditional clay.

After having clayed my Tundra on Saturday (traditional clay)....I'll definitely be moving to one of the mitts. One nice thing about clay...you can see (approximately) how much contamination was actually present....but a vehicle with that much surface area took a while.
