Assuming that you do not drop in on a gravel driveway, how many cars do you expect to get from a single pack? I did 2 cars this weekend and was wondering what is normal?

Totally depends on the amount of contaminants on each vehicle. I've had cars use a full clay bar in one sitting, and other times a full bar has lasted me 5 cars. All depends.

I was not aware of the elastrofoam. I will will have to read up on some of the threads. Thanks

The elastrofoam and the Hi-Tech Magna sponge both work great and last me over 20 cars. From what I have heard you want to make sure the car paint is cooled or it will mess with the sponge. All in all they are great. I still save some clay just in case I need to mold it to fit to a certain spot.

Is the Magic Eraser an example of an elastrofoam? I just bought one but haven't gotten to use it yet.

An 80 gr clay bar will do the "average sized" vehicle, with "average" contamination, 3 times.

Smaller vehicle - more times; larger vehicle, fewer.
Lots of contamination - fewer times; less contamination, more times.

There's no exact answer. A Fiat 500 or MINI with light contamination could probably be done 10 times with one bar.

A 1959 Cadillac with heavy contamination - maybe once.

It just depends.
