Clay for windows

Can I use my regular megs clay on my windshield? My windshield has little dots all over it that won't come off with stoners cleaner.

yes. clay all the windows. I just detailed a friend's Lexus that he got from an auction that had some white overpsray on the windows. Came right off with a good claying.
 
I agree with dublifecrisis, clay is an easy way to help remove trash stuck on your windows. Hopefully the "dots" will come off with clay. Next in line might be one of the Diamondite window cleaner kits.
 
There's more to windows than just spraying your favorite glass cleaner. I typically clay and poli-seal side and rear windows and it really adds to the overall result of a detail. The windows look and feel slick and reflective.
 
My personal experience is that Hi Tech Magna Sponge is best and most economic solution for "claying" glass.

What is poli-seal? Do you use the Griot's windows clay or just regular play?

An aggrressive clay is better on windows IM`O. The DP High Performance Glass Restorer works like a jewelers rouge on glass. I have used it by hand and it works well. Santa is bringing a Griots DA polisher and glass pads. I expect better results next time!
