Clay vs nanoskin...

try really soapy water and nano. you'll thank me. I find the sponges work better and by far faster than regular clay bar and lube.
Agreed. Soapy water seems to work the best with them.

Personally I like the mitt. Wash the car like normal, then use the mitt and clay the car with it like you're doing a second round of washing

I prefer clay on heavy contaminated cars. The nanoskin seems to leave behind some contaminants that I then have to go over with the clay bar to remove. Lately I have been using the Griots Paint Cleaning Clay Bar and really like it.

I didn't have too much of a problem with it on a heavily contaminated car with the blue mitt. Though I didn't go back and check with the baggie afterwards either. It seemed like it got most of it.

Others have said similar things, and it could very well be true. But I would have to do some testing with aggressive clay vs aggressive nano skin before I would agree with it 100%.

On my own vehicles I usually use Meguiars Mirror Glaze C-2000 Clay when it's needed.. On other peoples vehicles I usually reach for my 7"x7" Med. Grade Speedy Prep Towel. Man that thing saves so much time, especially on those extra gritty jobs where normL clay would take so much longer. Lube with Megs D114@1:128 and it's perfect.
