I was wondering for claying the car, is it a good idea after claying the car to give it a good wash?, and any tips would be great as well:props:

Are you compounding / polishing after claying? If so, then I wouldn't bother.

If you're going straight to wax/sealant after claying, then I wouldn't bother either.

So in summary, there's no need but you can if you want. :xyxthumbs:

Think of it this way...you just essentially just went over the whole car with detailing spray. Soooo, you can kinda say you have washed the vehicle.

it is not necessary but is still beneficial, specially if the car was very badly contaminated

If I'm going straight to LSP I wash it. Nothing big just a presoak and a light spray with a power washer just to remove the lube residue. If your gonna polish, compound or AIO you can skip the wash.

If you are not going to polish, then just do an IPA wipedown. 1/2 distilled water, and 1/2 IPA.
