My nanoskin is messed up now. It's sticky from the tint. This is stupid to you pros but I had no idea. Is there a way to get this off

Isn't the tint on the inside? You clayed the inside or am I missing something?

If the tint isn't on the outside I'm getting something that's black and sticking to everything. Super degreaser isn't even taking it off the inside of my bucket View attachment 35828

That's a picture of my clay sticking to the paint after claying the glass. It's just sticking leaving behind whatever is on the window

What do you think would happen if I tried cleaning the nanoskin with something like mineral spirits

The same ingredients in Trix that dissolves tar ruins the Nanoskin rubber/clay

Yeah I agree, according to their msds it has petroleum distillates in it and that would ruin the rubber for sure.

Well that was a dumb move. Guess I have to resort to a clay bar.

I ended up using a medium clay to remove the nanoskin black residue from the paint when it got contaminated (iron-x).
