Hey guys, will taking a clay bar to the paint remove any wax/sealant to prep for another fresh coat of sealant?

My understanding is yes in general. That has been my experience.

•Depends on:
-the Wax/Sealant (LSP)
-length of time since the LSP was first applied
-types of contaminates the LSP has been exposed to
-maintenance
-etc.

•Another way I like looking at this
claying-to-remove-Wax scenario:

"When you rub a clay bar with pressure over
a waxed, painted surface are you adding wax"?

Not sure what he means here...

Whenever I clay or nano sponge, I always polish afterward. The old wax is removed for sure in the polishing. The reason I polish after clay is I usually notice some very slight marring of the paint from the clay process. Others may have another process, but this has been my routine.

I interpret it as:
If you're not adding Wax...
you're probably subtracting/(taking away) Wax.
