Thanks Every one....
First off orngez is right...the CG sealant was super slick this morning..VERY Impressed..it takes a lot to Impress me...I had people in work come over to look at the truck and ask when I can do thier cars and truck..I usally do about 20-25 during the summer for people in work...
Second...the difference I was told between the Pro Menzerna is the abrasives..the Pro uses a milled type abrasive meaning it is milled to a certain shape and that is how it cuts the super hard clear coats..I also found out you will not need any pads but a green ...white and a blue pad...they work the best..I tried a orange and it was leaving micro marring...tried a yellow cut pad..forget it...marred ..I use the LC CCS pads..I tried others and these byfar worked best...not taking away from the other pads ..but these worked great..started to cut on the first pass...I tried a few other brand pads ..but these worked best as I said....no need for heavy cut pads..Green for real heavy stuff...white for the best corrections on swirls and marring...I used white on 97% of the paint....I love that pad..I ordered another dozen last night...Now I use the 5" pads on both the Rotary and PC...the polish worked great with both....The 5 inch pads on a PC actually give you pad rotation with a downward pressure...the pad spins like mad..the smaller pad gives you less surface resistance and better heat to work your polishes....just like a 4" pad...they correct like mad on a PC...
the blue pad was for the PO85RD...thats the ultra fine polish to get your best gloss
Another good thing with Menzerna...is the Abrasive scale is light...the polishess I used were 1.5 and 2 on a grit scale of 5 for polishes..so that would be like a XMT 1.5 and 2...but the gloss factor is 5 on a scale of 1-5...
They are not a super cut compound but a very fine polishing abrasive type polish...no grit feeling when touched...the stuff is amazing....worth the 600.00 I spent getting them...
