Cleaner Carpets

So my carpet is dirty. A lot of people's carpet is. Luckily AG was having a deal on some cleaner, and I bought the DP Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner.

Pretty good price, and hey, what can I lose by trying it out. So I spray it on and there is no foam, but there is a very strong smell. I might have used too much. Either way, it works well. I scrubbed it with a brush, and then used my new Bissell Little Green to clean it up. I am happy with the results, considering I only spent like 5 minutes. I am sure if you wanted them spotless, you could if you have some patience.

Last pic looks kind of dirty, but the carpet is worn.
Please post comments or suggestions for next time.:)
 
Interesting. I just ordered tis stuff myself. On Sunday cleaned out the wife's Nissan Quest. The carpet was filthy and stained. It was so bad I took the middle bucket seats out. I got it cleaner but not spotless. The carpets may be beyond hope, but I'll give the DP cleaner a try!
 
I really think if I cared about getting them spotless, this would do the trick. May take some time, but worth it if that is what you want. It really did wonders on spots that I thought were permanent. I dreaded doing carpet cleaning because I thought nothing would work, I guess I was mistaken!
 
Looks like I will have to order some of this for my wifes carpet, hopefully its not beyond hope. I'm starting to discover the wonders of the Dp line with all of the DP products being on sale. Well looks like another bank statement I'm going to have to hide from the wife!
