Cleaner Waxes

How and with what would one apply it w/ a da etc ( ie by hand)?
Thank uou

It's great you've found D151, pretty sure you'll like it. It's one of the most well commented AIO products I've heard about. Nice someone offered you a sample, this community is incredible!

In fact, if you don't like it (improbable) or if you just want to try something else, I'd recommend Pinnacle XMT360 and / or Blackfire Total Polish and Seal.

I've done a simple job on a black Peugeot with 360 on a hydrotech polishing pad, white flat pad and MF discs, and I've liked the results.

On this topic I've also shown a test spot using 3 kind of pads with it so you can extrapolate something to your pads question.

XMT360 corrects fine swirls and other fine defects. Don't expect miracles, but expect at least 360 transformation.
XMT 360 corrects, cleans, and seals auto paint! XMT 360 is more than a cleaner wax, its a swirl remover, polish, and paint sealant in one.

I've used it after one step correction too, it polished and sealed great.

Total Polish and Seal, from Blackfire, can be found here:
BLACKFIRE Total Polish & Seal, polish and wax, cleaner wax, car polish

@BlackRam, for hand application of cleaner waxes (but not exclusively) I like MF applicators, just like Meguiar's even coat applicator or any other that style. You always can use a foam applicator, or a Hand support with Velcro and a polishing pad you match with it.

Expect more 'cleaning' than correction applying by hand, but it's absolutely not a waste job. I've done many hand cleaner waxes before and found my results decent that time. Eh, cannot compare my hands to ~5000 perfect orbits + rotation per minute, if you know what I mean.

Hope I've helped,

Kind Regards.

I think Scholl Concepts A15+ would fit the bill quite nicely.

It has a bit more cut than D151, but still promises 3-4 months of protection.

Thanks for the response, I am going to give the D151 a try once we get a weather break here, but from what I have looked into I think it's going to be exactly what I need. I'm going to test with the different pads and see. Possibly even apply with a rotary if needed. But plan to stick to the DA

When hand correcting, does one just stick with the basic yellow foam applicator pads or are there different ones that provide more cut beyond the product?
Thank you.

The foam ones are the ones normally used, but you can get MF applicator pads for a bit more bite...
