I know this sounds crazy, but I am curious on what type of product and towel, you would use to clean a dashboard.
Now the crazy part is that on this model vehicle, the dash is like a rubbery compound, and not a traditional plastic.
Would definitely use some sort of lint free towel, but I don't think that you would want to use a product such as 303 Protectant ?
Any information is greatly appreciated.

Ron A.

303 would actually be a very good candidate for the entire interior of the car. There are also several other good ones sold here. I'm currently using the McKee's 37 Interior Protectant.

Most interior protectants will work on a variety of surfaces like hard plastic, vinyl seating surfaces, soft-touch trim pieces like you just described and just about everything else. Some can even be used for quick wipe-downs of leather surfaces like steering wheels, shift knobs, seats, etc.

I simply spray the product onto a quality, short nap, micro fiber towel and then wipe down the surface. I'll then flip the towel over and give the area a quick buff to remove any excess product.

My wife has a 19 forester with the same dash. I have been using McKee’s 37 FAST Interior Detailer with a quality microfiber and so far I am very happy.

I have a 2015 Crosstrek and use 303 and Mother’s VLR without any issues. I apply it with one of those triangular pads with a hand pocket. It works for me.
