cleaning a Jeep soft top?

Hey guessless ! New jeep soft tops are hard to clean without a cleaner and protectant. IMHO vacuuming won't do a thing. The material is a pourous vinyl just like the black trim on a vehicle. I'd be scared a vacuum nozzle would scratch the soft top.

They recommend only using gentle scrubbers or a cloth. Vacuuming will scratch the windows as well as potentially damage the sticking at the seems. Best thing is soap and water. A hair brush to scrub or a micro fibre cloth.

The top needs attention almost like black trim but with more gentle cleansing and protectant.

I was suggesting Vac for a Canvas type top only, I guess I omitted to mention that.

I did one recently. Let it soak with snow foam and pore rinsed it off. Then used 303 upholstery cleaner and sealed it with CQ leather and fabric coating.

Thanks for the offer. I'm probably just going to end up making an AG order. I need to get some more 303 for the seals on my top and the engine bay, and have been wanting to get some UTTG for the fenders, bumpers, etc. for a long time (not wasting that on the engine lol), and I need the cleaner that is part of the RaggTopp kit because I just struck out again on finding any 303 stuff locally.

Well, I put my order in yesterday, even made the 15% discount sale (wasn't expecting to find that lol). Should be here on the 3rd according to UPS so I'll have the long weekend to clean my top and put it on. :dblthumb2:
