Cleaning buffing pads Chip Foose style

I was watching this video on YouTube from SEMA 2012 featuring Chip Foose as 3M's guest presenter. He demonstrating their new masking tape and TRIZACT sanding disks.

When it came time to compound and polish, a person in the audience asked Chip how he cleaned the buffing pads. His answer was simple: "I get a new one. Your car's worth it, isn't it?".

Maybe a tad expensive for the average detailer, but considering how much his cars cost, why not?
