Cleaning corrosion off tire valve stems

I have plastic caps on my car but with all of the salt, snow in NY I think it may have been wet and the caps put on and I notice slight corrosion what can I clean them with.

Try cleaning them with a all purpose cleaner, try some metal polish or go have them replaced

I assume you are talking about the threaded area under the plastic cap? If so, I'd say a couple twists with some steel wool. Squirt with some silicone spray and put the cap back on.

yes the thread on the valve stem the metal part.

I just cleaned mine up today. I used a dremel with a small wire wheel bit. Try a brass brush or something similar if you have one.
