Hey all I'm creating this post to report my findings. I figure if I was wondering someone else will be wondering. So I have a bunch of MF towels that are either full of wax, tire shine, interior cleaners, or a mix. Now seeing that I'm currently unemployed I can't afford to get new ones I figured I'd wash what I have. After some research I determined that I'd soak them overnight in a dawn/water solution then run them through the washer. The soak is to pull any of the heavy stuff out and also as a little extra insurance to make sure I don't kill my moms ancient washer.

So here they sit and I will report on how they come out after I spin em through the washer/dryer in the morning.

they should come out nearly clean the ones that have tire shine on them may be have a little staing but the rest should be good

While detailing I have a big tub full of APC that I throw them in. After a few detail jobs I then wash them with Microfiber detergent :D

I ran mine through the washer last night. I had a mix of wax, kerosene and trim detailer on them. Ran them through twice with warm/cold settings and tossed in the dryer. Should be good as new. I think I might start up on the APC bucket method just to get any extra goop out of them I can.

So I got them cleaned and I think from now on I'm going to do this with everything! Everything came clean even the rags I used for tires and spots of grease came clean. They look brand new except for a few set in spots.
