Cleaning Plastic

Sorry. Ill put you to work! Can we get pH for DG, Megs, and Simple Green straight. Then all three at 10:1? Then if you have DP total interior cleaner too, just straight for that one.

:iagree: Sparkie. There's a lot to learned from these tests. Like why Simple Green is so though on some types of wheels. Thanks.

D&D and Jimmie, here is what I got. It was some weird reading...
Simple Green straight. pH 9.5
Megs straight. pH 13.1

10:1 100ml DI water/10ml APC
Simple Green went up to 9.8. I said that can't be right retest and 9.8. Mix new sample 10:1, again 9.8. Check my DI water pH and it was 6.8...
Megs APC was 12.1 at 10:1.
I wasn't expecting Simple Green pH to go up.
I only went to work for a few hours to do some paper work and test these sample before church this morning. So later this week I'm going to test it again.

Yea, that's wierd Sparkie. SG should have come down closer to the 6.8 water, huh. Maybe there's the reason that it's tough on paint and metal (whatever it is).

As for brands I use a pro all-cleaner not known to you guys together with a brush and use high-pressure air and microfiber, on clear glass inside no brush of course. Then it's Plexus over the plastics or Stardust Eclat from Autosmart. It gives the right new-car look.
