I need to order product to remove dried up wax and oxidized plastic trim and moldings. Something to darken it to original and not just cover it up and wear away. What is a good product? Thanks.

All purpose cleaner like Sonax Multistar and a trim product like Solution Finish.

Thank you guys for the help! I might go with the mothers kit to see if it fixes the problem. Thanks again

Looking good! So far I'm impressed with the TW Endura Shine product.

If you do not clean the trim well, it will not hold the dressing as long. Mothers works great. It has the right viscosity (gelish) so it just does not run off the surface.

Thanks! And yea it's good stuff. I put this trim coat on my folks new Kia Sorento about 4-5 months ago and it's still holding strong. Best of all, it continues to look good even in between washings. I've seen the results from much higher priced trim coatings and I can't even tell there's anything on the trim because it looks so blah after just a few days of daily driving. This stuff actually maintains most of its sheen, and a quick rinseless wash and it pops just like day 1. Even after 4 months and counting:) And best of all it attracts zero dirt.

Works best on textured trim*

I topped the Endurashine with PNS. We will see how well it holds up in winter.

Tuff Shine plastic restorer with the clear coat is what I used on my Avalanche. Did it 5 years ago+ and it just started to fade a touch. I live in florida and between the rain and sun it takes a beating. I cleaned it with the tire cleaner and then just followed the instructions. I have done some other Avalanches and Jeeps all with great results and it lasts.

Solutions finish my Fav! Prep cleaning is key, getting that trim clean with a soft bristled brush. Sounds like you have your mind made up but if you do use Solutions Finish use a foam applicator and be careful not to get any on the paint. Wipe off immediately or tape off the work area.
