cleaning/washing mf

i tried the search feature, with no luck. whats the best way to wash mf towels ? what about waffle-weave drying towels ? or are the waffle-weave towels old news and i should be using something different

Throw them in the washer, warm cycle with Woolite, air dry. Or you can hand wash in a tub with Woolite. If real dirty, let them soak overnite.
 
Due to the fact that I'm 'not allowed' to use the washer/dryer, I just do 'em by hand. Hang them up to dry.

I use a MF restorer on cold in the washer. Then dry in the dryer on low or no heat.
 
I wash them with (CG micro rejuvenator) on warm, delicate, 2 rinses and dry on low

i do the same. when i have no woolite i use arm and hammer laundry detergent and get pretty good results too. separate your darks and lights , never use fabric softener! Tumble dry or air dry

I actually got some of the CG micro rejuvenator on it's way! I'm currently using the DP stuff.
 
Previously I'd been using Tide powder with Borax and a double rinse using Warm/Warm then dry on medium. Less than stellar results but it was mostly cheap "roll of 6" MF from Pep Boys Auto. Tried a new technique last night after reading a bit around here that seemed to work good.

Same wash cycle, toss about 1/2-3/4 cup vinegar in first rinse, dry on low, and they came out really nice. I think the vinegar got some extra stuff out, and from reading laundry tips it's supposed to make them fluffy again and reduce/remove lint.

This is what I do, except I use Tide Free. Works great for me.


As for the OP's questions about WW towels, yes, they are still good.
