I find that I get better results from lightly spraying the cleaner (regardless of what cleaner I'm using) directly on the microfiber, rather than directly on the glass...MUCH better results.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I have as well. I've been using this cloth that a friend of mine gave me. All you use is just hot water. Works well.

Started doing it that way many years
ago. Way less overspray to contend with,
especially when doing the interior glass.

Must be a Zap cloth.
I have always been a fan of Zap Cloth for interior glass and I usually buy some extras during my Autogeek purchases. I give them away to my customers and my bosses and they are a big hit. For exterior glass I use the Griots Garage glass towel. They are superb.

Is that the PFM towel?

The PFM is the drying towel which is also a superb product. Griots makes a glass towel with a PFM dual weave on one side and a satiny tight weave on the other side.

I use the pfm glass towels with stoners inside and out and best combo I’ve used so far.

Just got my order of Zaps. Will use on interior monday

Of all the things I can do with a car.... built a Factory Five Daytona Coupe from nothing, bodywork paint, build engines, pretty handy behind the wheel, suspension setup, troubleshoot problems and fix......I cant clean windows worth a damn. It looks like I tried to clean em with an uncooked porkchop.

PFM towels work terrific with glass cleaners. since they absorb very well, they are less likely to streak (if at all) and do not lint. i cleaned the mirrors and windows around the house today with one PFM towel and GG premium glass cleaner (aerosol) with excellent results...

I always spray on microfiber when inside the car and sometimes spray on the window itself on the outside. Never noticed much difference. What does make a difference is the product you are using. So far my top 2 are Armor All Car Glass Cleaner, and Stoner's invisible glass.

I used to use Meguiars Glass Cleaner and I had a very hard time cleaning the glass, when I switched all the problems went away.

Wow, that is absolutely hilarious! Raw porkchop, lol!

I do fine on door windows, but front and rear windshields are such a pain to get perfect. I have a zap cloth, but it does not produce a streak free finish. I always have to wipe with a perfectly dry microfiber behind wherever the zap cloth touched.

Listen to me . Spray glass cleaner on glass, any glass cleaner. Wipe with a wet towel, wet micro fibre, or wet paper towel, wipe dry with paper towel or micro fibre. No streaks, It may seem like double work but in fact its faster.

It sure sounds like it could be the Zap cloth. I haven’t used one for a long time however when I read this I went out to my shop where I had remembered seeing one. Wet it with hot water and wrung it out good then cleaned the windshield inside and out on both cars and every mirror in the house. Wow! No streaks and clean.

So many new products seemingly being introduced by the minute.

And many of them are incredible.

The problem is, we seem to forget about the tried and true staples. The Zap Cloth is one of these, IMO.

For those that use the zap/kawos cloth.... how iOS it for tinted windows?
