Cleaning your tub or sink

If you want the original brushed finish the SS sinks usually have, just use a scotch-brite pad. I've also used sandpaper with decent results.

Actually, I wanted to give mine that clean, polished mirrorlike look. Any suggestions?

No experience there. Maybe a powerball and some metal polish. The only problem I see with the polished look is anytime you bang a dish or something against it, you will have scratches showing like a sore thumb.

Yes that is true. :(

I used the original white pad that came with the PC along with an automotive polish (brand long forgotten) on the stainless steel double sink in our kitchen. For a 12 year old SS sink the results were nothing short of amazing. Shortly after we sold the house.....I can't help but think it added to the overall look of the kitchen and the house.

Same here. This is what I did to gain some experience with my new PC. It worked great. And from what I have been told, the white pad that comes with it should not be used on any auto finish anyway.

You are correct. The pad that comes with the PC isn't of sufficient quality for paint use. :) I use mine to polish things in the house. I did my sliding glass doors with the white pad and DP Glass Restorer. they came out great. :p
