mind if I ask how much it was? my dad is thinking of getting one on his XC90

Make sure you tape the edge of the clear bra when you wax and polish. I have worked on cars that have a clear bra, it makes things that much harder.

Very nice, you did a nice job installing it. I got the same on my Lexus, well worth the price if you ask me.

Good job, thanks for sharing.

The price you quoted is outstanding. I found an offering for a 3m clear bra product that was in the $hundreds. Who makes the clear bra you bought and where did you find the product? It looks great! Is it holding up under detailing activity?

Okay, thanks for the info. That's where I went as well. Didn't want to put those convertible bras on the Vette due to the on/off scratching. Thought 3M's product was just the answer until I totalled up the cost for covering the hood, mirrors, bumper, wheel openings, etc. Total cost around $500. Cheaper than a paint job, for sure, but my seven layers of acrylic is doing an okay job so far. If I won the lottery and bought a C6 I'd put on the 3M product also. You did a great job, looks awsome!

Wow - that loosk great! I am thinking of doing this for my wife's 06 Jetta. (Sorry to hijack) anyone in MA know where to have this installed?
thanks
eric
