Clear coated aluminum wheels

You can leave them bare, there's nothing wrong with that. I ran mine bare for a few months before clear coating. Re polishing them when they need it isn't really a big deal, especially since it's on a trailer (no brake dust).

I previously used Photobucket to upload pictures, but it's not free anymore. I now use the Tapatalk app to view the forum on my phone and it allows pictures to be uploaded.

I just read Mike's instructional thread on how to post pictures and I am not quite up to speed yet. I gotta work on it. I will have to get the app for my phone because that is generally how I use the forum. I don't sit at my computer very often and the forum is so different on a computer than on a mobile device. I loaded several pictures into my gallery and eventually I will figure it out, I just have to work on it. I am very impressed with the results, thanks so much for your help on this. I also have a polished aluminum wheel off my Chevy dually that has a gouge in it. I put the citrus stripper on it last night and hope that it will be stripped today. I am going to weld the gouge and attempt to refinish the surface. These wheel refinishing shops are a bunch of babies and don't want to do it if it is too much work. I bought a refinished replacement from a guy over by Detroit and the finish is not all that great, I think I can do better. I just hope the welded area has the same coloring after polishing it. Stay tuned.
