Closing in on killrwheels

Dang, I got some catching up to do! LOL!

Man, I'm an amateur

You're almost to the 1000 post mark!

Quantity is not as important as quality, that's for sure... I always appreciate our forum members that consistently chime in on threads and genuinely help out others and it doesn't go unnoticed and it's a sign of a strong forum.

I have over 28,000 post on MOL, took 5 years to get there and answering a lot of how to remove swirls questions...

If you read through my posting history, most posts are in-depth answers with lots of pictures and links to topical threads. My favorite post is when I can simply write "Yes" and hit submit. Some threads like the below two are over 10,000 words...

The Secret to Removing Oxidation and Restoring a Show Car Finish to Antique Single Stage Paints

91 Photos

Dampsanding has less words but more pictures...

Damp-Sanding Tools, Tips and Techniques by Mike Phillips

So I'm very familiar with the term Post Wh*re but do my best to limit my "fluff" posts...

One thing for sure... I can't live without my Arm Holder Uppers...

Notice the Cobra Indigo Microfiber Bonnets over the pads that support my arms.

Lol! I need that workstation. That monitor idea is a good one.

Oh, I am closing in on all of you!

Mike, I would imagine that your arm supports help to properly align your arms when typing and help to eliminate neck and shoulder problems.

I have big problems with chronic neck and shoulder pain and fatigue and I have never seen supports used like this, but this has me very curious. Sitting at a desk all day can be brutal and I have the best Herman Miller chair you can get.

* BTW * The diet Mountain Dew is full!

I am going to just post in this thread just to have a post!

Cool armholders! Where did you get those?

I obtained mine from when I did a tour of duty for Hewlett-Packard, that's where I learned about the Usenet Newsgroups and started posting how-to information on detailing circa 1993

That was long before most people new what surfing the web was...

Back on topic...

Here's the actual name of my Arm Holder Uppers

The EG-ErgoArm Armrest
(some website spell it differently, i.e. no hyphen)

Type that into Google and you can find a number of different suppliers, they average about $75.00 piece, so $150.00 a pair.

Here's one website that shows the exact model I have...

Ergo Rest Armrest | Barry Bennett Ltd

Here it is on Amazon...

Amazon.com: ErgoRest - 330-016-BK - ErgoRest Articulating Arm Support - Black - Long Arm, Long Pad: Office Products

Here's another place,
ErgoRest Adjustable Arm Support : ErgoPro.com, Ergonomic and Green Office Products

Probably, I think going to the gym and ocean swimming helps a lot too... I like to go to Bathtub Beach or Coral Cove in Jupiter and workout, usually a mile or two. I took CEE DOG with me one time, he's a pretty good swimmer.

No carpel tunnel, that's the best benefit, plus it increases my speed...

Sitting at a desk all day can be brutal and I have the best Herman Miller chair you can get.

I divide each day up with typing and then things that are out of the chair, like testing, or a detail project or a video project. Today I have pad and compound testing to do...

* BTW * The diet Mountain Dew is full!

That's a refill... :D

Have one more cup of Pete's Coffee to go then it will be time to switch over to green coffee... (Mountain Dew)

:)

I shouldn't be posting in a thread where the average post count of the members is in the thousands.

I agree with the statement that quality trumps quantity in almost everything.

Cool armrests btw.
