I sure hope that someone is working to acquire the Blackfire line of products. I ordered a 64 gallon jug so I should be good for a while. Hopefully the AG team will acquire the product line.

Oops, yeah, the 64oz jug. One thing's for sure, I won't be using my Blackfire Wet Diamond on anyone else's cars but my own.

I always put www in front (habit, baby!) and your link doesn't work either. I don't want to clear my cache/cookies cuz I'll lose all my passwords so I just used my laptop instead--but you guys went and bought up all the small bottles of BFWD already!

First, I am very sorry for Angelo, Jack, Todd, and all others involved.

As far as the sale goes I went to get some wheel woolies and they are gone... Well, I got sucked in anyway and lets just say I ended up with free shipping. Oops. That was my first order at PAC. I almost made an order for those woolies a few times but they were always so expensive.
Sorry you didnt get the woolies cuz when Michelle finds out you dropped 3 Benjamins I suspect wool may be hard to find in Deltona! J/K Buddy!

Seriously just get FireFox or Chrome.

On a UK based forum, one of the traders who carry Blackfire and Eimann Fabrik mentioned that the BF line would continue, but not EF:

As it stands right now, the Blackfire line is going to continue to be produced and we don’t foresee any stocking issues arising. The same goes for most of the other products we source from them; we already have alternative supply chain options in place. However, as a direct result of their closure, we will no longer be able to source Eimann Fabrik products, and as a result this line will be phased out of our store over the next 2-3 months.

Im not sure what the blackfire fixation is.

I have tried everything in the line and I must say that NONE of the blackfire products are ANY better than most anything I have tried from any reputable manufacturer on the market.

The Pinnacle or Wolfgang brands are at minimum at least as good as any equivalent blackfire product. I prefer Pinnacle or Wolfgang. Just sayin.

This is just natural in regarding anything: beers, wines, soft drinks, cars, politicians, etc.

Everyone seems to have their likes and dislikes (often strong) and often why someone likes one brand over another.

For example, I have never had much luck with ARO or Folex (naming two) but others really like them. My question is always why.

Spot on Garry...:props:

Al mentions another product ARO (Amazing Roll-Off).

Amazing Roll-Off is a decent product but lets face it, unless you have money to burn $26.00 for a gallon of tire cleaner is a bit much. Meguiar's Super Degreaser is a kick-ass product at half the cost; $14.99, can be diluted at least 4:1 and dose a superb job cleaning tires. It's a much more versatile product.

Yep, it's too bad that CMA is closing their doors. Best wishes to each of them in their future endeavors.

jay

ps... I grabbed a gallon of Eimann Fabrik High Gloss Acrylic Shield. Nothing else I needed as AG is keepiing me well stocked.

Was going to try eimann fabrik high gloss acrylic shield, then I read it's supposed to be the same as FMJ which doesn't have the best durability
