Hello,

I have a 2012 VW with what I would guess is a coated leather. My problem is on the outter bolster, there is a small spot already (only 5k on it) that has lost it shine. I guess the coating has worn off.

The leather in the spot is not worn and still looks new. Just no shine.

PLEASE... what can I do

I have been keeping up with the conditioning and cleaning with Lexol products.

Take it back to the dealer and see what they say about it.

That happened to a 300C I was going to purchase from a Dealer. Almost signed the papers without looking at the car; wasn't feeling good that day. Glad I did. The seat had a spot on the dirver's side that lost pigment and the dealer stated that they would put on a new seat cover. I said no thanks.

Purchasing a car should be a positive experience. This was no way to start off.

:iagree:
On a 2012 YM with only 5 k's, it is not admissible.

:iagree:Also !!! It should still be covered by the manufacturer's bumper to bumper warranty coverage against defects, etc. If the dealer gives you the run a around, ask for the regional rep's name and phone number and call the VW Rep.
