Buy all of it.. as long as its the non-aerosol kit.

Thought about it, but I'm hesitant. I bought one kit about a month, month and a half ago, applied it to my winter wheels/tires. Needless to say it's holding up great on the front tires which are different make and model tire from my rears, it's not bonding to my rears at all lol, looked great for about two weeks. I've recleaned the tires very very well and applied it again, still wears off after a car wash, it stays in spots but not like the fronts.
I'm going to clean my summer wheels in the next few days and apply it and see how it fairs just sitting all winter getting zero action. My summer tires are really smooth sidewall's so I'm guessing that it will sit better as there isn't many groves/letting for the product to fly out of?

We've all figured it responds differently to different makes of tires but 2 weeks isn't the norm for sure. I'd say that even though you've cleaned those rears real good the old stuff must be in there really good, winter tires are more pores due to what they have to do for you out there.

Buy it all and use it as trade bait, trust me that is a hell of a deal!

I've come to realize my summer tires, Goodyear F1s, don't like dressing/coatings. I used the TW on them last summer and while they looked good I can't say I was blown away.

Last weekend I decided to try it on my winter tires, Blizzaks and was really pleased with the result. This is the third season I've had them and the only thing I've ever done to them is wipe them down after a wash. I took my car to a heated shop to wash it and decided to do the tires first while the paint warmed up. They were pretty brown and dirty. Hit them with some apc and used a carpet brush attached to a drill to clean them. Dried them off and let them dry while I washed the car. Applied the TW and was shocked by how much better they looked, a nice deep black matt finish. I wish I had taken before and after photos. I'll update how it holds up. We haven't had much of a winter so far but it rained the next three days in a row. One week later and they still look as good as day one.

Great update Focus!

I too have Blizzak's but they don't seem to hold up as well as my summers. Here inlies the problem, different rubber holds or doesn't hold the TW the same way. It makes me wonder if the tires that seem to hold up as well to TW need the rubber to breathe better and/or need more work for prep, who knows, something for a chemist to figure out.

All I know is I hate it when customers have Michelins. Because 9 out of 10 Michelins seem to fail to accept any dressing or coating, heck you probably wouldn't be able to spray paint Michelins without them turning back to turd brown within a week.😂

I hate those tires, I can't promise anything, not even the TW Endura on those dumb tires.

I bought another 2 boxes from Oreillys for 8 dollars apiece.
The cleaner isn't anything special.
I use Meguiars Hot Rims all wheel & tire cleaner a couple/few times for prep.

And yes 7PaintGuns that's the box.

Thanks Spazz, I need to check our O'Reilys and see if they too have it for that price!

Amazon has it under $8.00 and if you or someone who has their Prime membership gets free shipping, this is a great deal!!!

Went 5 wks on my wife's new tires that were coated shortly after getting them. The finished still looked good but I just applied a single coat to boost it up as usual. Not only this but the weather is about to go south as far as temps and precipitation so I felt it was a good time to re-apply.

The next test is now underway🔎

After a TW RW last night. The tires were basically rinsed down with water when I cleaned the wheels. The TW tire coating you see here is about 3 wks old.

New Continental pro-contacts coated last Sunday. Dirty car.

How old is the tire coating on the winter tires?

I cleaned the tires in spring then coated them in the house in October.
The weather had me put them on in early November.

As you already know, they clean right up. I probably won't bother with recoating until next fall.

I was so tempted yesterday to buy 5 more kits but I already have 3.

I have 3 kits right now and the prices on Amazon and EBay are too good to pass up. I will end up buying a couple more before spring. I have a gallon jug with Bleache White in and I pour the tire cleaner that comes with the kit in there with it.

I've never thought of pouring the tire cleaner into a different dispensor. I might just have to buy another Megs bottle for this. Good idea!👍🏽

Well I do this because it's all tire cleaner and it doesn't dilute the bleach white really all too much in my opinion.

Wait so you mix Bleache White with it? I'm just talking about putting it in a bigger dispensor bottle.

I'm cleaning the outside of my 12oz. Megs dispensor right now, about to pour another new bottle of the tire coat in there😉
