Coating bare aluminum wheels?

Has anyone coated bare aluminum wheels with any success? I was thinking of trying Dlux or UK3.0 but not sure it'll do anything on bare metal.

The Wolfgang Metal Sealant actually works great. Durability from what I have seen is around 9 months. I haven’t used a coating in bare aluminum, I’m sure others will chime in.

A coating works but the wheel will still oxidize. Just a slower rate.

I agree with this. It’s a great product and I’ve gone back to this on bare metal.

Thanks for the feedback. He really wants them coated I just wasn't sure if it's worth it or a waste of product.
