Hoping to get things arranged to pick up a new hot pepper red badlands Sasquatch Bronco with hard-top today. Is CQuk still the best option? I have it on my son’s ‘21 maverick and it’s still going strong. Here good things about mohs evo. I guess csl is still the worst option of the three main brands.

FWIW, with health issues, easy installation is a big plus

Looking for ease of maintenance. I like to keep my vehicles sharp but don’t always have the energy to do so (as evidenced by current state of them). I use rinse less/waterless the vast majority of the time. I’m even open to non-coatings but seemed to work well on the current main vehicles. I’m using my OPT stuff on my old MINI and it looks sharp but is rarely driven.
 
There is always Meg's hybrid....goes on and off as easy as a topper....gives great results and durability.....also very cost effective.

Well, back on topic, my head just reminded me I have a bottle of Armour Detail Supply Phobic in the freezer, which is supposed to be very easy application and the OP might be interested in.

CQUK has never let me down. However, if you want something easier to apply, I found Mohs EVO to be the easiest to apply coating I've tried.

So far, MOHS is holding up for me every bit as well as CQUK, but I'm still on my first application. I'll be trying out Armour Detail Supply's coating this spring.

Looks similar to Cancoat evo? I liked installing that. Think it would work with Gyeon panel prep?

I've never tried CanCoat EVO. I really liked CanCoat's results, but found it a little difficult to apply. Mohs was a breeze. It's wipe-on, let it sit for a about a minute until it "sweats" and then wipe off.

Any good panel prep should work. I've used Eraser and Prep with multiple different coatings and never had any issues.

Same concept as CanCoat EVO. You could use Gyeon Prep with either of the two.

I'd vote for CanCoat EVO for its ease of use, and when maintained you should get at least 12 months out of. I had it a vehicle parked outdoors 24/7 and got about 15-months from it.

Otherwise, Gyeon Mohs EVO if you want something longer lasting.
 
If I go Mohs, is the skin pack worth it?
 
Weather is supposed to turn. Really thinking of using some bead maker I got somewhere along the line and give myself a couple of weeks before the full detail.
 
MOHS Evo is slicker and more hydrophobic being a flourinated polysilazane based coating.

CanCoat Evo and CQUK might look better being SIO2 based.

Some people top MOHS Evo with CanCoat Evo.

I hadn't touched on either of these topics and probably should have.

I do think MOHS is more hydrophobic than CQUK. From what I"ve seen on my cars, I'd say it's even a touch more hydrophobic than Pure EVO too!

As for appearance, I think it provides a pretty glassy, reflective look, whereas coatings like Pure EVO or CQUK seem to have a deeper wet look that might even darken some colors slightly. No right answer there, it all depends on what you like. I really like MOHS on my wife's white pearl vehicle.
 
Resurrection of another thread but asking here. Protection for the hard top?
