Coating recommendation

Just noticed this comment. Interesting you got such short life from Mohs EVO. On my wife's car that sees over 20K miles a year and is only garaged at night, we've gone 14 months so far and it still behaves like new. I wonder what the difference is?
I honestly dont know. Could be some sort of contamination on the paint that my decon washes just didnt have the omph to remove without a minimum of a clay.

How about Armor Detail supply Pro Quartz?

Necessary?
Or, is ads Quartz almost as good?

Any assistance will be appraciated
Anyone have experience with the Pro version? I’m looking to coat my new daily. I’ve use a handful of the more popular coatings in the past and was thinking of trying something new this time. I was considering Gyeon Mohs or pure but ADS quartz looks interesting. Looks and water behavior probably matter most to me as long as it lasts 18-24 months. Single layer easy removal is always nice. I’m honestly a bit lazy these days with how good spray products perform. 2 layer grabby products have to be exceptional for me to consider the effort nowadays.

I haven't used either of ADS' coatings, but if your happy with 18~24 month durability, the pro version may be a bit of overkill and not worth the extra expense. You'd probably be perfectly happy with the "regular" version of the coating.

My expected durability for a coating is the 24~36 month range, where most quality coatings tend to land. I know there are some out there claiming much longer, and they might actually live up to those claims, but I know I'll be polishing off any product at the three year point.

Yeah you’re right, I usually get the itch to try something new at the 2 year mark. But I do want something that still performs at a high level up to that mark. I don’t keep coatings that diminish noticeably, at least on my own cars. From coatings I used, something that has the durability/performance of CQUK 3.0 with the application/removal of Gtechniq CSL would be a nice one to try next.
