I received a few of the new Cobra 750 MFs and tried them for an ONR wash and also to apply QD. I really like the plushness for doing an ONR wash, but for applying a QD they do seem to soak up product rather than spread it.

I find that I prefer to apply the QD with a nice 500 or so weight MF and then use the 750 to do a final buff. They also work well for a spray waterless wash (like S&W) where you are using enough product to do some light cleaning.

JMO. As others have said they are thick, soft and plush.
 
I am waiting to use for sealant/wax removal (ie. buffing) ... any notes from users ??
 
I find that although the 750 MF works to remove sealant, I still prefer a lesser weight towel (with shorter fibers) for initial LSP removal and then use the 750 for a final buff. I'll be interested to see what others think.

I do recall a post about the towel and how people thought it might work....but I must have missed any user reviews. I'm slipping in old age...lol.
 
I plan to try the green 750s tomorrow while removing Fuzion. Sound like these will be a winner for drying and buffing...exactly why I bought these green monsters...:D
 
for me any thing greater then 550 gram towel just dont work well. i have the purple 600 gram towels and yes there fluffy but dont perform well there to darn fluffy they dont have enough grab in them .
 
Anyone try them for just drying off your car after a wash? Are they more absorbent?
